I'd be interested in knowing what others are using to develop their web sites.
I have Dreamweaver but haven't spent much time with it. I've heard of NVU and a couple of others, but again no experience.

I'm in the process of dumping FrontPage and would appreciate comments on a package that would provide many of the features (forms, themes, etc) that FP offered.

Suggestions welcome.

I use DW. I just got CS3 Web Premium. I am in school right now so I haven't had much time with it. But I have used Dreamweaver, Dreamweaver 8 and I have used FrontPage when MS first came out with it. I think you should see the improvements right away.

If you're mostly into asp and static sites, then Microsoft's new Expression web designer is an excellent alternative to dreamweaver and the severely outdated frontpage.

Download a trial:

Wow, web site design software from Microsoft that supports web standards and uses CSS? I'd be curious just to see the source files. Has anyone used this to any degree with success?

I use Dreamweaver. For quick edits, I'll usually bust out notepad :)
