Different URL; 404 error?

I have a script that alerts me when my site receives a 404 error (and a few others). It lists the URL the visitor was attempting to access. This last week I received a few that show a URL that is not mine, e.g., my domain is shamar.org, and this is the URL for the error I received:

http://votdomain.comhttp://votdomain.com/scaner/test.txt

Any ideas how that could happen?
