View Full Version : cPanel & Safari

I thought I posted this once before, but my post seems to have disappeared.

Ever since Bluehost updated their website -- specifically cPanel -- I can't use it with Safari.

At first, it was sort of hit and miss whether it would show up right, or with just links down the side of the page. But, eventually, and ever since, it became that I simply can't use Safari when working on my account through cPanel. I always have to log on through Firefox.

This is very frustrating, since one of the reasons I chose Bluehost was their Mac & Safari compatibility. I never had a problem before the change.

Does anyone else have this problem of the cPanel not showing up right in Safari? The way it shows up for me is that it's nothing but text running down the left side of the screen.

And, if so, is Bluehost aware of, or planning to fix this problem?

I'd really appreciate a response to this.

Thanks,
Caat

Works for me. Have you updated to the latest version of Safari? I'm using 3.0.3.

You might also have some kind of security enabled that's blocking cPanel. Turn off your security settings then try it. Then you'll it's a security setting.

Bluehost doesn't really have anything to do with the way cPanel displays with browsers. That's the makers of cPanel's problem.

I'm on Safari 3.0.3 also. I'll ask my husband, (apple authorized) to look at the security issue. I know he has a *lot* of security things on my computer.

Thanks.
