Less than 12-16 hours ago, my osCommerce site was working fine. I never changed any settings since that point, but today when I try to confirm any order through the checkout process, it hangs for several minutes and then returns the error:
2006 - MySQL server has gone away
delete from customers_basket where customers_id = '8'
[TEP STOP]
2006 - MySQL server has gone away
select count(*) as total from sessions where sesskey = '3b5ae7872c23cd18333a4f7c93b9b5b2'
[TEP STOP]
Try as I have, I can't find any solution online other than it could be a newly upgraded MySQL on the host's end that is not properly configured. Is anyone else having this problem, or does anyone have any suggestions? I'd like this fixed ASAP, a deadline to launch the site was tonight and now I just discovered this critical error.
