I have an email address set up that forwards to three other email address that are on the same domain. But I have a problem...

The email is not being forwarded consistently. Sometimes it will forward it other times it wont. I know that it is getting the email, I can log into the account and see the email in the inbox.

Does anyone have any suggestions or ways I could maybe debug whats going on here?

Thanks

If an email does get forwarded, does it get sent to each account, or is it only going to one or two of the accounts?

Yes, it does get sent to each account when it is forwarded.

So all email is going to the first account, but in some instances it is not forwarded to the subtier accounts? Is it possible that the first account is getting 17 or more emails per hour? If that is the case, then it's quite possible that the latter ones are not being sent due to the default limit of outgoing emails per account (BH caps outgoing email at 50 per hour)? This sounds like a similar issue that some people have with mailing lists.

FYI, BH can raise the limit on your account if you speak with LiveChat (maximum of 500 per hour, I believe).

No, maybe 1 or 2 per day.

Should I still ask them to increase the limit?

If you are only getting 1 or 2 per day, it doesn't seem necessary. Hmmm... The only other thought I have is that perhaps there is a spam filter involved but beyond that, I'm stumped!
