Hello everyone,

Looking at the positive reviews all around for BlueHost, this might come as a surprise to you guys. Even I am quite disappointed, but I can't figure out if it's their support, or I have done something wrong :(

Just after the signup, I was supposed to receive a mail at my account, I did not get that. I even checked the 'Bulk' folder, but its nowhere. I launched my control panel, and opened a ticket for them, but I didn't receive even an acknowledgement.

I opened one more ticket, but still no reply. Even if I might have given the email id wrong while signing up (a remotest remotest possibility), I gave the correct email address while opening tickets.

I signed up for the one yr package! So, someone please respond and help me out of this frustration. Do I have to call at their international no.?

Thanks for being patient and reading this out! Any help would be highly appreciated!

Regards!

Either call them or use live chat (located on www.bluehost.com)

Submitting more than one ticket is always a bad thing and will lengthen your wait time and create more of a back log for the support techs.

Ya, I just tried their Live Chat feature, but no luck there as well. Its still searching for an available operator and asking me to be patient for last 15 minutes!

Guess, I will have to shell out more bucks and give them a wakeup ISD call

Live Chat is "manned" all the time (other than major holidays), but there will always be more operators available during the regular 9-5 type hours. Utah is on Mountain Daylight Time (GMT -7. Or is it GMT -6, to account for Daylight Saving Time?).

Finally, a happy end to the story! I connected with them on LiveChat (not bad!)
and the operator told me that my email id is that of Yahoo, and Yahoo has been blocking a few BlueHost mails or tagging them as spam. (pathetic! ).

I changed my email contact from yahoo to gmail one, and things worked.

Thanks you guys, for such a prompt response on this forum. Its nice to know that I have a great forum to fall back on in times like these!

Will see you around!
