Hello all!
So here is what I am trying to do. I host an ftp site on my home computer for friends and family to be able to connect to and download things. My IP address changes on occaison, so what I wanted to do was setup an address that I could use that redirects to the ip address. THat way when the ip address changes I can just go and change the redirect and it will all be transparent to anyone else. So:
ftpsite.anywhere.com -> 123.123.123.123
They could just type that address into their ftp client, and it would use that ip address. I did it before using zonedit, because they had an IP forward feature. Is there anyway of duplicating this at bluehost? I haven't found anything in my cpanel or here on the forums to indicate this.
Thank you!
