I have installed b2evolution using the fantistico interface. I am happy with the software so far but it produces a long address to access my blog: www.domainname.com/b2evolution/etc Is there anyway to change it to www.domainname.com/myblog?
Is there any way I can simplify this?

Yep, create a folder "myblog" in the "public_html" folder and install Wordpress 2.3 manually.
:D
Just joking, but does anybody acutally uses "B2evolution"?

You need to provide the exact path if you want anybody to offer a solution.

thanks! I am trying to use b2evolution because I want to give my students blogging space but I also need to be able to edit what they post. BH does not currently offer WordpressMU, the multiuser package whereas b2 has multiuser blogging capabilities

BlueHost allows you to run any script you like provided that it does not breach their terms of service so there is no reason why you could not install WordPressMU.

Cool! I guess the only limiting factor now is that I do not know how to work in Linux :( It is on my to-do list though...I guess I am hesitant to take the plunge.
Thanks!

All you need to do to install any script manually is:
1. Download the script from the site that provides it.
2. Upload the script to your hostin.
3. Run whatever install processes that the script requires (usually explained in a text file that comes with the script).
There is no direct access to Linux required, the install process is the same on any operating system.
For WordPressMU you download from http://mu.wordpress.org/download/ then unzip the files and upload to wherever you want to install it on your hosting, then open that location in a web browser and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the install.
For the download you just click on the link. For the upload just use whatever FTP program you usually use to upload files to your site.
