Own a domain, bought another under same hosting plan, cant do addon domain?

So I just bought a hosting plan and domain a few days ago. Then today i bought an additional domain through bluehost while logged into my account. The new domain shows up in my domain list but it is unassigned. When i try to add it as an addon domain is says problem creating addon domain for my new web address, with no explanation as to why there was an error. Any help?

This is a user to user forum, but domains take a day or so for the DNS propagate. Give it a day and then try it. If you're still having problems, contact support with live chat.
