Hi all,
have a joomla 1.0.13 site with Bluehost which I've upgraded periodically with each new version-release since 1.0.8. In each case I have used Fantastico to install the cms - and without any issues, problems.

Given that joomla has now restructured anew (Joomla 1.5 RC3) from scratch and without an underlying basis of mambo-related code, and given that joomla (voted "Best PHP Open Source Content Management System" for 2007) will no longer build upon its previous model...I'd be interested to know if/when this new and improved version of joomla (1.5) can be upgraded at Bluehost through Fantastico?

Any insight is appreciated.

I doubt anyone at BlueHost would know. You'd have to ask the people at Fantastico.

Thank you Felgall for your reply. I will look into it.

Although felgall touched on the subject, from what is understood, the software versions available through Fantastico are not controlled by BlueHost. This is one disadvantage to having software installed through Fantastico if you like to keep up with upgrades, especially with regards to security issues.

Just for completeness:
