Is there some way to resize a pdf file as you can do with photo files? I have uploaded a calendar file in that format and it takes forever to load. Is there a better way to do a calendar for our members to see? I did the calendar in Print Shop, converted to pdf format and uploaded. I do have Microsoft Publisher if there is a way in that program. Thanks Bev

The only way I am aware of to compress a PDF is to open it in Acrobat and then use the "Save As" option to resave it. That will ensure that it is saved using the smallest possible size and will also enable progressive download where the first page will be displayed once that page has downloaded even though the rest of the pages are still downloading.

Is there a better way to do a monthly calendar for our lodge members to see? Using my present program I don't think I can save it as a html file to allow it to load faster. Bev

In case anyone else has this problem later, I solved it by grouping the page and then saving in 75 dpi in the printshop program as a pdf file. 75 dpi shows fine on the site and loads way faster which is important to me and probably many of the people who will access my site from our Moose Lodge as we are mostly still on dial up. This cut the file size down by at least 50% or more. Bev ;)
