Need passowrd for MySql database

I want to know how to figure out what the password for my MySql database account is... my father made it and so I want to know the password so that I can transfer a sfm forum to another sfm forum.

You'll have to add a new user to the database if you don't know the password.

Unless it's for an existing installation of the forum, in which case it's probably in their configuration files somewhere.
