Bluehost pre-signup questions

Hi,

I know this forum is meant for customers only, but i can't find the information i'm looking for and thought someone here might be able to help.

I'm kinda new to all this stuff. Basically i have a domain name that i've just bought from uk-cheapest. I would like to get web hosting from bluehost but have a couple of questions:

Can i transfer my domain to bluehost now (or do i have to wait the 60 days)?

If i have to wait the 60 days, can i sign up here (and get a free domain name) then transfer my other domain name after the 60 days?

Do i have to transfer my domain at all, or just edit the nameservers?

I'm a bit confused by all of this, and any help would be appreciated.

You get a free [new] domain signing up with bluehost for as long as you continue hosting with them. The domain you've already registered can be added to the account as an addon domain by changing the nameservers to bluehost's. No domain transfer necessary.

sometimes, you get error and can't register a new domain. You should contact Bluehost's supporter to solve the problem. I suggest you contact them with Live Chat.

Is it possibel to contact them on live chat? I tried this once and it didn't work for me...

Live Chat has always worked just fine for me, except when there's been some sort of major problem at BH, when the support folks can get swamped (like the loss of a nameserver, which affects virtually every domain). Are you getting some kind of error message when you try to use it?
