I wanted have have http://sales.eightvirtues.com as my English site and http://es.sales.eightvirtues.com as my Spanish site, but I discovered Bluehost doesn't allow a period in the name of a subdomain. No doubt the technical reasons for this are beyond my understanding, but is there a workaround? If not I'll need to reorder my business cards... Thanks.

>>As far as I know you can't, you'll have to do something like sales.eightvirtues.com/es
Alright, ignore this post, it isn't right.

...or http://es-sales.eightvirtues.com. Dashes are accepted, unlike dots.

Well look at that, apparently I was wrong. It is possible.
In the subdomain manager you can choose a subdomain from the dropdown list to add a new subdomain onto.
