I just signed up. How can I find out my IP?

It's in cpanel or in the welcome email you got.

Down toward the bottom of the left-hand panel in tiny tiny letters, as:
"Shared Ip Address69.89.31.136"

If I'm not mistaken unless you pay extra, the IP address is not fixed. To successfully access a soap service (no, not an overdue shower:) ) I needed to purchase the fixed IP address.

It's not that the IP address isn't fixed, it's that it's shared. That's why, for things like a SOAP service, you need to purchase a dedicated IP (not a "fixed" IP).
