ftp access

Im having trouble connecting to the ftp account using smartFtp. I created an account using the ftp account manager, then i tried to connect to ftp.sitename.com using my newly created username and password but when i hit connect it asks me to reentertain my username and password then it acts as if the location doesnt exist.

whats wrong?

What happens if you try to connect to www.sitename.com, instead of ftp.sitename.com?

Edit - I just checked. The correct entry for the server name in your FTP client is yourdomain.com - just use the username and password for the account you created.

Your username is in the nonstandard format of "user@yourdomain.com".
The domain is yourdomain.com or ftp.yourdomain.com, either works.
