I believe we have GD installed on the server but how about Imagemagick? I think I cant use some gallery functions because Imagemagick cant be found. Is it possible for Bluehost to install this for me?

ImageMagick is installed on all the servers (/usr/bin/convert, mogrify, etc, etc). How, specifically, are you trying to use them?

I am trying a Gallery on the Nucleus blog and i just made sure the path to IM is configured correctly, it says the path is correct but it only uploads jpegs, it will not upload others as gif or png, it says BADFILETYPE.
I also tried a flash gallery before and wouldnt work but I will try again. :)
I also noticed, it keeps renaming those files (gifs, pngs) when giving me the error.

The software I am trying to use ( a flash gallery) has the following requirements:
This application requires that PHP version 4 or higher, the GD library, DOMXML library and the iconv library extensions are installed on your web server (iconv comes on most Un*x-type OSes).
Do I meet those requirements? Because the application is not working, it wont allow me to login. I press the login button and it does nothing.
Thank you,
Mishka

What does it rename the files to?

Menalto's gallery makes extensive use of Imagemagick, and I haven't had any problems with my Menalto Gallery yet.

Taresa- Just add random letters and numbers to it.
jacauc - I am trying to use a flash gallery and tying to see if the requirements: This application requires that PHP version 4 or higher, the GD library, DOMXML library and the iconv library extensions are installed on your web server (iconv comes on most Un*x-type OSes) are met on the server at the moment because of the errors I get, thus I am not able to use the software.

I'm runing a VBulletin forum and Imagemagic seems to be working fine for the forums script because it's just asking me for where "Path to the ImageMagick 6 binaries (convert and identify). Example: Unix: /usr/local/bin/
Windows: C:\imagemagick\", but when it comes to my photopost gallery it does not seem to be working.
The photopost script is asking me for:
"Path for MOGRIFY executable"
Right now what I have in there is "/usr/bin/mogrify"
When i use the rebuild thumbnails command in my admin control panel using that (/usr/bin/mogrify) it at least thinks its rebuilding the thumbnails, but doesnt work because the thumbnails are blurry.
I know this for a fact because the thumbnail on the forums is way sharper than the thumbnail on the gallery page. Imagemagic does not seem to be working, but it doesnt give me any errors.
Notice how the words latin flava are much sharper on the forum page.

When I use /usr/bin/ or /usr/bin or /usr/bin/mogrify/ or any other combination, i just get an error message when i click rebuild thumbnails.
THE DIFFERENCE IS VERY NOTICABLE.
Please help me.

What did you do to fix this? I am using vBulletin too. What is the path of imagemagick? In the ACP >> vBulletin Options >> Images Settings >> ImageMagick Binary Path it asks "Path to the ImageMagick 6 binaries (convert and identify)."
What goes here?
Thanks :)
EDIT:
Never mind. I found it: /usr/bin/ is the correct path
