hello all. I am pretty new to all this. But with the help of my wife I am getting a forum put together. I am wanting to add a table where I can put adds at. My wife says we should be able to put the code into the index. But it does not work. Can someone help us out with where to put it. It would be helpful if anyone could show us (or atleast me) a code to run across the forum or down one of the sides. But I am sure we can figure it out. We just need help findout out where to put it.

Sorry I tried to explain it the best I can. Thanks for any help.

you have to edit the .tpl files located in the templates folder

It's been to long since I looked at PHPBB (think about smf), but I believe they have template files that contain headers and footers. You might think about modifying those.

Oh just edit header.tpl it's pretty straight forward. Also I'm pretty sure there are some MODs over at phpbb.org that are just for posting banner adds.

Hello,

I just downloaded a template that I want to edit the default header image to our logo. The issue is that I can't find this "template" folder with the .tpl file you speak of. Can someone pm me with the steps? I'm looking thru BS's File Manager trying to find the folder like crazy. If it helps...I'm using Joomla.
