gather info from other sites

I'm looking for a script that will automatically gather info from one site and store it in my database and then show up on my site... it will content an image and text info.... looked around and not sure where to even start in scripts thanks

Are you looking to grab feed data? There are a few scripts out there that do that. RSS2HTML comes to mind...
