Backing up phplist

If I use the backup utility on control panel there is an option to back up the phplist database. What is contained in this database? I am hoping to backup both the member list as well as the history of emails I have sent out from it.

Does anyone know?

I don't know the answer but you can go look for yourself using phpMyAdmin.
