I am running a WordPress 2.1 installation and when I access my account using FTP (using FireFTP) and logging in as the main ID on my account, I get logged in and see the structure and files in public_html and several of the subdirectories, including WP-ADMIN. But when I try to access files in my WP-CONTENT directory no folders or files show up. I know they are there as my site and theme are working fine and I can see everything in the WP-CONTENT folder when I use the File Manager. But I prefer using FTP over the File Manager and have not had any issues doing so previously, although it has been a couple of months since my last access. Has something changed? Is there a security setting somewhere I need to change?
It is especially odd since this is only happening on my root level site. I have a subdomain folder (the subdomain folder sits at root level) and within that have a WP installation also and can see everything just fine.
I'm sorry if this has been previously addressed, I did search on "FTP" and didn't find anything. Thanks!
