Last year I launched my Wordpress blog through Bluehost and now would like to start a website with a completely different theme, I'd prefer it be hosted by Bluehost as well.

That leaves me with a lot of questions and I've no clue where to start, but here goes:

How do I add a domain to my bluehost account in such a way that I can start building that site? It should have absolutely no connection to my blog, other than that it is mine and both the blog and website should be hosted through BH.

I've just purchased my new domain from BH, but can't for the life of me figure out what to do next. Where can I go to learn how to create a new file for my new website? How do I get my new website? lol Do I need to go through yet another provider to start building my website??? I know enough html that I can build it myself, if I only knew where to build it!

I feel really stupid right now. Anyone want to help?

Thanks,
Wendy

1 - Login to your hosting CPanel

2 - Go to Add-On Domains panel

3 - New Domain Name (enter your domain name. ex: domain.com) , when you go to the box below, both of them will be automatically filled which are "Subdomain/Ftp Username:" and "Document Root:"

4 - Set a password for your new domain, preferably like your hosting password t be easy to remember (you won't use this password to login to the hosting CPanel, both domains will be managed with the old password and 1 CPanel)

5 - Add Domain

Now, when you go into your FTP/Public_Html you will notice a new folder with the name of your domain. ex : domain.com

Click and open that folder and start uploading.

Thanks so much. I knew it had to be just that easy! Appreciate it. ;)

Hopefully one day when I'm a pro at this I'll be able to answer questions for the newbies and the lost! :D
