I have an email account set up that uses BoxTrapper for SPAM control. I also have mail sent to this email account via a form on one webpage. Since Boxtrapper requires a human reply how will Boxtrapper handle mail that is submitted through the form that is from someone that has not previously been approved? Right now in testing this it seems that any email subbmited through the form is simply discarded. No mesage comes in asking for a verifivcation. If that is true does anyone know how I can work around this problem so the form can be used and retain this SAM control?

You have invited them to start a conversation with them via your site and provided a form so that they can respond. It would therefore be bad manners to ask them to confirm themselves for a converstation you invited them to start. The simplest solution would be to use a separate email address to receive those emails that doesn't have boxtrapper enabled. You can then build appropriate spam protection into the form processor so that the form can't be used to send spam.

The bigger problem with email forms is where the person filling out the form has a similar service on their email address and uses your form to send you an email. If they forget to approve your email address then when you reply to their email you will get an autoresponse back asking for confirmation that you are a real person even though you are replying to their email. My solution to this issue was to set up my spamblocker to identify all challenge/response emails as spam - at least that way I don't know that I have wasted my time answering a question someone asked where they have been stupid enough to block their receipt of my answer.
