Hi all,
I am new to this site/forum . . . I ran our website - www.winnebagorally.com - under my old charter.net account. I have recently move it over to bluehost. com
My site is pretty basic/simple . . . I never had a problem with the photos not working (showing the famous red X) but for some reason, I get that now - see my "sponsors" page, that's one of the pages that's giving me some issues.
I am using FrontPage 2002. I am pretty new and am learning as I go.
Any advise/tips would be greatly appreciated!

On your home page you have this code on line 17:
src="www.winnebagorally.com/homePage/2006WinnebagoRallyLetterhead.jpg"
Add the http before the www like this:
src="http://www.winnebagorally.com/homePage/2006WinnebagoRallyLetterhead.jpg"
On the Sponsors Page about line 120:
This code should be a link to a website not a jpg.
</font></b><a href="Sponsors/other%20place%20logo.jpg">
There are just some simple html fixes that need to be done. A small word of advice...put your images in a folder named "images". It's much easier to keep up with them that way.
Also, try to get in the habit of naming your images and files without spaces.
other place logo.jpg
should be renamed other_place_logo.jpg or otherplacelogo.jpg
If you need more help finding the errors, just ask here.

Thanks again 2notch.
You're right, simple fixes!
The only thing that I had to think about was your comment about line 120 on the Sponsors page - "The Other Place" doesn't have a website yet so I had to link the thumbnail to a JPG of thier business card that I have on my site.

Glad I could help. One other thing. You have email addresses exposed to spam spiders and bots. It will only be a matter of time before you are deluged with spam at those addresses.
Put your email address into a little graphic. The bots can't read it and anyone can just type it into their email.

Could you explain this a little more? Like I said before, I'm learning "on the fly".
Thanks!

Some unsavory folks send out spiders or bots to harvest email addresses from html pages all over the internet. They look for words like "mailto:" and patterns like "your@email.com". They build their email spam "lists" from these harvests so you should never place an email address on a page that these bots can read. Most people use contact forms to hide the address.
If you must put an address on a page, just make it into a little graphic like the one below.

The bots can't read what's in a graphic. You can make the background the same color as your page so it blends well.
PS:
And while we're talking about spiders...
Billy Hoffman, an engineer at Atlanta company SPI Dynamics unveiled a new, smarter web-crawling application that behaves like a person using a browser, rather than a computer program. "Basically this nullifies any traditional form of forensics," says Hoffman.
