The following scenario causes IE6 to crash almost 100% of the time:
Open cPanel, select Legacy File Manager, select any PHP file, then click on Edit File with Code Editor.
The edit window opens.
If I then use the vertical scroll bar to scroll down, the program hangs. An hourglass appears, I cannot edit anything, and if I click the Close box for the Edit window, I get a message that "a problem has occurred" and all instances of IE6 that may be open just wink out.
This does not happen if I am editing an html file, and it does not happen all the time with php files.
If I keep away from the vertical scroll box I can edit just fine in the window.
Has anybody else had that kind of a problem and if so, is there something I can do/configure to eliminate it?
