Dear bluehost administrators! Russian free mail service http://mail.ru denies all mail from bluehost's IPs (from mail addresses hosted on bluehost):

2 questions:
1) Why is this happening?
2) Can you arrange this problem?

Thanks!

you've answered your own question - bluehost's IP is considered as spam on their servers [edit: that particular ip]. if you are on shared hosting, then most likely somebody from your box used to spam that site, or somehow got on their black list. If you go to that link, there's a form that you can fill out to request to get that ip off of the list. I don't think bluehost can do anything about that.

Yes, I got it and I filled out that form already 5 or 6 times. But I can't do it everyday. :)

Spammer!

It could have been another company that owned the IP before BlueHost did, as well. You never know how these things start. I think there's a way to find out when they were essentially blocked, though, but I'm not sure.
