I submitted a ticket to the help centre a week ago, but my problem is still not resolved, nor have I had any communication from Bluehost. Is anyone else having communication problems with Bluehost, or is it just me?

I have open ticket regarding gzip files being compressed again by mod_gzip in apache (which was hardcoded in upgrade).

Evidently the tech support game is to reply with "I'm sorry for the delay" email and they remove it from the ticket system. You have to then reply quickly so it stays alive in ticket system. That happen to me on Sunday morning. Nice game guys.

I called today for some other (another upgrade issue) and discovered the support staff is swamped with like 400 tickets a day since change. Overwhelmed.

But good thing, I have had good telephone support and good live chat support. You should try that as well. My ticket is still open.

Same situation with me.

I am UK based, so phone calls are really expensive.

Live chat is OK when you can get through, but often long delays

Thanks for that people, at least I know it's not just me! I live in Greece, so phoning is expensive too. I tried live chat and was told that "tickets are currently taking 48/72 hours" - NOT! Isn't this frustrating? Not sure what else to try, any suggestions?

Sign up for Skype. You get a free 5 min, but you'll need longer, but it's really cheep.
