Online Stats help

I have got my phpbb forum up n running, however i would like to have the online status of members and who's online stats, total members and the latest member statistics on my actual webpage like i see most websites have these days. I have searched all night and found simple html online stats scripts but I'm getting no where fast :confused:

Can anyone point me to a simple guide or some templates that have this feature. Does the website page connect to the phpbb forums database?

Any help would be appreciated, i'm lost.:rolleyes:

dumb question, got that fetch it addon but it says this:

"1. Create a directory 'mods' within your phpBB2 directory if
it does not already exists."

I can only see a "forum folder" in ftp://kiwidirt@70.103.140.135/public_html/
am i looking in the wrong place or should i make a mods folder in the "forum folder"?

you should create a mods folder inside the "forum folder" that you found in public_html

have successfully hacked/mod'd the actual forum to include "no. of users who visited today" but...

I can't for the life of me find the hack for "123 visits today, 1 guest, 122 members" etc etc, where can i find this mod? I have spent hrs searching the phpbb mods forum and still havn't found it.

Also, how far can i go with modding the forum? whats the diff between the forum and phpnuke? Sorry for so many questions lol.

aha! got me portal working Death, thanks man. I think i need to tweak it now as it's got some bugs i think.
