Like the hold music?

Hi all,

There's new hold music on the bluehost customer support phone line as of a while ago, and it seemed really loud at first, but now it's a little softer.

But it's still a little loud, and really I'd love to have it either just soft enough to let me know I'm still on the phone, or not there at all, with just the periodic "You're 2 in the queue" message, etc.

I was on some other customer support line, and they said, right before putting you on hold, "Push star if you'd like to hold with no music." That was great!

Anyone else have feelings about the hold music? It just seems a bit jarring, and since I'm doing other work while I'm holding anyway, I'd rather have it be simply a signal that I'm still on the phone, not a concert.

I dislike it as well, I wouldn't mind having hold music if it wasn't lame though. I would make a few suggestions, but I don't know if Weezer classifies as proper hold music?

I have never had to hold long enough to care about the music.

When I start critiquing the music, I think I will just look for a new host. Until then, as long as its not country I'm allright.

Heck, all I can say is that is is awesome that it at least tells you where you are in the queue. The last host I was with only had a ticket system. It's so nice to know that if something goes wrong, help is just a call away.
