Coppermine

I installed Coppermine (as I've done more times than I can count), uploaded pictures via FTP, went to do the batch add function and it gets through maybe 10 to 15 pics and then stops. It then gives me an error page (when I refresh or just go back to the index) saying my account has used %20 CPU usage and won't let me access my domain for a few minutes.

I've never had this happen before and it makes me a bit nervous. All I'm doing is a proper function of a software that's made available by the admins. I've done literally thousands of batch adds, some that had 50 to 100 images in the batch, and I've never seen this before. Why offer 10 gig of space and 250 gig of BW if the server can't even handel a simple Coppermine function without shutting me down?

Is there an answer to why this CPU/Error page keeps comming up?

I don't think a solution to this has been posted to the forums yet but I believe engineering is working on it. You might open a ticket and explain about the matter so they are aware it is happening on your box as well. You are correct, it shouldn't cause the CPU error.
