Greetings All,

I am interested in hosting some mailing lists for a local nonprofit using my BH account. I would like to setup something such as lists.foo.org which would point to my BH account. while foo.org still pointed to their current email provider.

Is this possible? How would I go about it?

Thanks,
Harry

Not sure how to do that, but please be aware that Bluehost has an absolute email limit of 500 emails per hour. It's not really a good place to be hosting a mailing list.

The 500 message per hour limit was not made clear to me when I signed up. No matter, these would be low volume lists that would not reach that cap unless they count each individual recipient as a message.

I will start to investigate other solutions as well.

Thanks,
Harry

Emails are sent individually to each recipient. The total number of emails/recipients per hour is 50 unless you ask BlueHost to increase it in which case it can be as high as 500.

By staggering the sending of emails through the day this allows over 10,000 emails per day to be sent.
