WAMP problems

Lately I installed WAMP 2.2.6. It combines MySQL, PHP, Apache programms for lacalhosting. After installation I couldn't run MySQL, the icon on systen tray is not fully colored as it must be...
If anyone has ever come across the samelike problem please inform.

I had this exact same problem yesterday, check theres nothing using port 80 on your pc. My problem was I had Skype running. Once everythings closed, left click on the wamp icon, goto Apache, Service, and restart it.

If that don't work, goto Mysql -> test service, it should tell you why it can't start.

I tried to do as you said but MySQL still not running...
When I triedd to enter to service after starting MySQL it asks the password but when installing I left the password line free and it doesn't allow me to enter nor using password nor without it.

Have you tried going into phpmyadmin? I don't have a password set on mine and done have any problems.

See if you can login to phpmyadmin, then see if that brings up and more helpful errors.

Did you try the test service option? Did that bring up any errors?

hey i have some serious problem....
plz experts reply fast

well in my university lab we installed wamp on server

and it works when login as admin.....it shows that both services are working but didn't open localhost page ???


but didn't start when each student login with there individual id/pwd and shows both services are not working ????
