Thoughts on Add On Domains

I have an existing account with Bluehost where I house a domain and use WordPress for my blog. I am interested in starting a new blog with it's own domain name.

Existing Blog: http://Oldblog.com
New Blog: http//Newblog.com

I want to install WordPress to use for the new blog also. Would I start an add on domain to my existing account that way I can manage both blogs using my one account? Can anyone who has done this offer any suggestions?

So, each WordPress instance should be installed in it's own subdir,right? . How should a second domain be configured to point to the new WP install?

Update: Just found the answer..the Add On Domain Maint. config points to a subdirectory. I guess to track statistics independently for each blog we'd have to use a third party tool like Google Analytics or is there a way to split the stats, too?

You could look at the "Subdomain Stats" section of cPanel. It will list the new subdomain. If I recall correctly, you'll have to tell AWStats to monitor new subdomains before it will do it though.
