when will the latest version of phpbb2 be available and will bluehost apply the latest version to my domain ???

goto http://www.phpbb.com/ to find out and download it. And NO, bluehost will not update phpbb on your domain. You'll have to do that youself.

Make sure you backup everything including your sql database BEFORE you do. Having experience with phpBB for awhile it does some really strange crap.:eek:

If you get the update installed will you post here if it was easy to do?I downloaded just the update part of the program because I have the ver 2 installed already.

I started with an early version. They have these bug fixes which are what the updates are about. Learn a little about what they are doing first. A virgin install of 1.0.17 works great IF you don't allow certain things.

HTML code first. PHP code second. Hackers hide this in their posts if allowed. It's a sick world with many sick people. I vote for cannibalism. Lets send these folks that trash the internet with problems to hungry people! BWAHAHAHA
