Hi all,
I'm gearing up to do some web design with a CMS like either Drupal or Joomla. After investigating using XAMPP (on the kind advice from you folks) to create a development environment on my PC, I started wondering what the procedure would be to set up a private development environment on Bluehost (if that's possible). The main reason I'd like to do this is to be able to do test development without being linked to a single PC (I have a few, and sometimes work from others' PCs, so I'd like to have my stuff on Bluehost and access it from wherever I am).
Could someone please tell me whether this is possible, and, if so, point me to a walkthrough for setting up, say, Joomla on a remotely hosted test/private development environment and then migrating it to a publicly accessible environment? I'd be very interested.
Thanks in advance.
