Spam Assassin - I for one, am grateful.

I've tried Spam Assassin and would like to add my testimonial ... it appears to have done as advertised.

That puppy identifies some characteristics that imply the mail is spam and it's report in the delivered mail can be filtered upon to just dump the spam into /dev/null.

I was beginning to get bombarded by spam and Spam Assassin has saved my email from being a dumping ground for spam!

Yup, kicks ass. Mail.app on Mac OS does an excellent job but it misses the bitmapped crap that runs around. Just set Mail.app to trust junk mail headers and straight to the trash it goes.

I also like the fact that it identifies the fake mails from my banking site asking to update my account. Don't have to look twice. :)
