HTML is a very easy language to learn. You might consider going online and finding some basic templates that you can manipulate to your desire. Or you can use a content management system (CMS) software like Joomla! to make it "plug-n-play."

Kompozer (a free download from http://www.kompozer.net/ ) is probably one of the easiest web editors for beginners to use to create static web pages.

Stephen, thanks for the link. I downloaded but I have no idea where to start with the software and there is no tutorial. I hate being ignorant:(
I mean I am really new.
Any help you guys could pass along I would be very grateful for.

See http://www.felgall.com/net2g.htm for a set of tutorials that I wrote on how to take a page template and convert it into web pages with NVU or Kompozer (they are both basically the same editor). There is also a user guide at http://www.nvudev.org/guide/1.0PR/

If you need a free online website builder to create your site by following an easy site-building wizard, visit http://sitebuilder.mexabet.com/index.html . It is free and it is not tied to any web hosting plan. As you don't have any HTML experience, using a site builder is a fine place to start.
Thanks for the response. I'll work on that and report back.
