Comes with SMF and phpBB. vBulletin isn't open source softare, so you need to purchase a license from them to use it.

Wait, So does that mean, that right after I buy the domain name, I can press a button and i'll have phpBB on my site, or do I have to go to phpBB's site, and download it and add it to the site?

The easiest way to set one up would be to log into cPanel and go to Fantastico. From there, you can choose a few different message board softwares, just pick phpBB2. Select the board you want to install, and choose 'New Installation' from the menu. Select a destination for the install and fill in the info it requests and Fantastico will take care of the rest.

phpbb2 seems to be the winner? Best free one out there?

Hey, for what it matters, I recommend PHPBB. It's been out there for years and is open source, which means that it is generally tailorable and there is a lot of support for it. It can be a little tricky, depending on how much you want to customize it, but it installs easily from the cpanel (Fantastico) Blue Host provides. By default, it allows users to quickly setup an account on the forum and post or simply view posts without an account.

You can even lock down portions of the forum or forums, if you need to. People can establish their own profiles and have avatars, if you want. It's pretty easy and I did it in seconds. If you're still having problems, please contact me...I'll be happy to help. :D
