When emailing to any comcast.net user, I get the following bounce back. I have never had this problem before. It started mid week last week.

Comcast help page says this is because bluehost does not have Reverse DNS set up to identify it (or my domain name?) for the comcast server. page says reverse dns must be set up so that comcast can identify me as someone other than an anonymous spammer.

Help please.

Sounds like in order to prevent their customers receiving spam they have decided to disallow a lot of legitimate email as well. I have heard of people who have left Comcast because Comcast started filtering out the emails that they wanted to receive.

I doubt that you will convince BlueHost to change their email setup because their setup already has all of the security features that are required to prevent spam as well as additional features that they have implemented to prevent their service being used to send spam and there is no requirement for them to set up anything just because Comcast decided that they will bounce emails that don't meet their requirements.

You might try asking BlueHost support to lodge a complaint with Comcast asking them to fix their system to stop bouncing emails sent from BlueHost.
