Solved a problem that was a year old. Actually, Mark Davis, Level 2 support solved the problem. I found no mention of this in the message boards or knowledgebase.
When making a remote connection to your database using the IP address, you CANNOT use your dedicated IP address. You must use the shared IP address.
Pretty simple rule. Pretty major headache. Don't know why it's such a big secret.
