Just in the last couple of days, Google completly lost contact with my sites/domains that are on this space.

I mean - I had worked so hard at doing the right things, and Google was perfectly picking up my domains and putting them first in the results - and POOF they are not showing up at all now! How dismaying!

All I can possibly think is that when Google's Bots and Spiders last visited my domains on this space, Bluehost was DOWN and they found nothing. I was doing everything by the book, and all was perfect and now, nothing.

I wonder if Google will visit them again, and Bluehost will be "up" and they will be indexed once more. SIGH

Any ideas? I have been getting my other sites to come up perfectly in Google, for several years, and this had never happened with my other provider.

I've had it happen at random, too, with Google. My site suddenly disappears and then reappears a day or two later. My guess is that Google "hiccups." If your site has a healthy traffic flow then Google should have you back where you belong.

Various people writing for about.com complain about being Google dumped frequently enough that it must be a reasonably regular occurrence for the more popular sites to have some of their pages disappear for short periods (anything up to a few weeks).
