I have compared a friend's and my figures for queries and query speed on our wordpress blogs. He is hosted on a VPS with 1024 burstable RAM and I'm hosted here.
His stats:
92 queries, 0.45 seconds
Mine:
16 queries, 0.32 seconds
I was wondering how to interpret this? Does it mean his VPS is really fast since it only takes a third of the time above mine to execute more than four times the number of queries? Or does it mean that the speed I'm seeing on bluehost is actually pretty decent for a shared environment with 800+ people on the box? :confused:
