page embedding,
extension checking,
unhackability (optinal),
direct file movement.
process bar(totally optional)

I am new to PHP and have been trying to build a simple upload script meant for uploading MP3 files to a map where an mp3 player will find them again. the tricky part is as usual the security, i can't seem to get any script to not detect images but mp3's (i even made a special mime type audio/mp3 for it!). making it impossible for me to create a proper upload script. The way im saying it makes it look like i am lazy but i have been working on this for almost two weeks now, and learning php shouldn't start with this :(

If you are just learning PHP, dont even try to do something like this. Its just impossible for you to write something like this and you will get frustrated and just quit. Trust me, I know.

The best thing I suggest, if you have some money laying around is to hire a freelance programmer. Most don't charge very much, especialy for something like an uploader wich isnt the most complicated thing in the world. You can find them on freelance websites. There are many on the web, just google.
