Got a newbie question: How can I use RoundCube at mail.mydomain.com?

I've installed RoundCube, first at mydomain.com/webmail. But when I typed in that address, it would take me to the Squirrel/Horde login page.

I finally moved my installation to mydomain.com/email. That works, as far as me being able to get to the RoundCube interface.

However, I'd like people to be able to go to mail.mydomain.com and login that way. It seems more intuitive than the other. (Picky, perhaps.)

I haven't looked into it, but I agree. mail.rata.com would be a much better place to have people go. If we can't already set it up to go to the roundcube, we should be able to.

I know this thread is old, but I was searching and came across it.

mail.website.com doesn't work well because that is the name of the actual web server. You should try webmail.website.com.
