View Full Version : need account verification before paying for domain transfers

hi there, i just signed up with bluehost and am in the process of transferring my domains from godaddy. I unlocked the domains, submitted the authorization codes and am supposed to pay for the domains but both credit card and paypal options refresh a red text above saying my account needs to be verified and i should call customer service. I'd successfully paid for 2 years hosting just an hour before. Why would the account need to be verified? Is it the paypal account or does the domain transfer need some other step before payment? Please advise. Thanks in advance! I googled and searched this forum but couldn't find an answer anywhere and am waiting for a reply from customer service. Cheers, mephala

use the live chat button on BlueHost's home page to get them to sort it out for you.
