Hello everyone!

I'm really new to this so everything feels enormously difficult right now.
I'm using wordpress on bluehost to create a site, and I don't even understand how to upload a new theme. I start ALFTP and fill in all the fields. It connects alright, but the remote folder shoes as /.

What is this folder?

Anyhow, I then upload the folder from my PC with the new theme in it.
This is what I get:
-/
-ProSense-blue

ok.

But then, I go to the dashboard of my site. Click on Presentation - Themes, and there's nothing there! Only the two WP classic and default.

What am I doing wrong?

first use FileZilla (http://filezilla-project.org/). It is free, reliable, and opensource. you need to put your content in the folder www . the first file should be named index.html. the server will automatically open the file called index.

You need to upload the folder containing the theme to the public_html/wp-content/themes folder.
