Hello everyone,

I have had teamspeak running on my account for some time, but today I have had this strange problem, and nothing has changed in the settings to my knowledge.

So basically, the problem is that Teamspeak is shown as running, but nobody can connect to it, including myself.

I am at a loss, I've tried restarting it, and have checked to make sure all of the files are there which they are.

Any help on this would be appreciated,

Justin

Okay, I just tried a clean install of Teamspeak, modified the server.ini to fit my IP and it still will not allow users to connect. I cannot even go to the Teamspeak administration page through my browser.

So I am certain it is on the server end. Also I think my account may have changed boxes because now my box number is 436 where it use to be number 58.

Once again, any help is appreciated, I would like to get Teamspeak up and running again as soon as possible.

Justin

Contact the help desk. My TS is working BUT when they updated php they switched me to a new box and forgot about my dedicated IP  It sounds like you might have the same problem.

Also be sure to try restarting your server and making sure that it is running as a process.

... when they updated php they switched me to a new box and forgot about my dedicated IP :rolleyes:That's the kind of thing that seems to get lost when BH moves you to a new box. The last time they moved me, my hourly email limit went back to 50, with predictably ugly results. They really do need to develop a better checklist for doing box moves. They should schedule the move, tell the site owner when it's going to happen, and give the site owner the chance to review the checklist.

As suggested I contacted Bluehost support, funny thing was, in cPanel I could see my dedicated IP, seemed to be the same as before. Anyways, live support said it was a port issue, they gave me a support number and said they would send me an e-mail when it was fixed.

It's fixed now which is great, because for the purpose of my site, TeamSpeak is needed badly.

I don't mind the box move so much, the only annoying part was that we did not get a notification so we had to update a lot of our PHP scripts because they changed the home folder on us, now it's named home1.

Thanks for your help everyone, I'm very happy that everything is functioning again :-)
