Hello all.
I am totally new to everything and to top it all off, I really don't know to much about putting a website together or anything. I do have a "live" website that someone else has uploaded for me, but I don't know how to put Affiliate Links into it or change something or what ever. Is there a tutorial on bluehost to help a total newbie get started?

If you do a web search, you will find limitless resources on building a web site. It isn't as easy as "plug-n-play" unless you use content management software like Joomla! or Drupal. The only resource BH offers is the space to put your site.

Which just makes things more difficult for the person when they decide that they want to do something more than it can handle - probably about 10 minutes after they start using it.

Good point. I should have mentioned that in my post. Some people, though, do use similar programs and never learn how to write HTML. (I don't know how they can tolerate that situation but, somehow, they make do.)

You could get away with creating pages that will work in some web browsers using a program such as NVU/Kompozer (free from www.nvu.com ), Expression Web, or Dreamweaver without knowing any HTML to start with and then once you learn HTML you could continue using the same program and get it working for all browsers. At least with programs such as those you can actually get the program to do whatever you want the web page to do once you learn how to do it and you can do as much or more than the web wizard just with by learning the basics.
