Good question... I am using phpBB v.3.0.1 ..... is there a better version that perhaps supports what I am looking for? Here is my site.http://www.cascadehikers.com/index.php

I am using phpBB3.01 and all the forums appear in the order I put them in. If yours are not appearing in the order you want you just need to move them.

It is only the threads within a forum that list in order with the most recently updated at the top and that is a part of how forums work. If you don't want that then a forum is not what you should be using.

Yes, Felgal is right. I did some phpbb work some time back, and you have to move the forums to the order you want.

I want to make it so the threads are in ABC order.... I already know how to organize the forums! P.S. I did'nt realize what a thread was called, I thought they were forums.......:o I noticed that in the free version of Phpbb I have a forum site http://cascadehikers.topicboards.com/mountain-loop-highway-mountain-pages-f19/ and I was able to make the threads in ABC order.... is this perhaps a diffrent version of Phpbb? Is there a way to edit the html of mine to make it be able to do that?

Look in the admin control panel and see if there is an option. You might be using a mod on that forum that sorts threads in alphabetical order.

Is this (http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=70&t=802005) what you're looking for?

Is this (http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=70&t=802005) what you're looking for? Perfect! This is exactly what I was looking for. I'm still new at this website making, and was wondering how to apply it to the site, I downloaded it onto my computer, then uploaded it to the site, but I'm not exactly sure how to apply it to the forums. I looked at the admin section on a forum, and it does'nt allow me to have the abc order... is there something I must do first?
But if this works, it would be perfect! Theres some forums that I want this applied to, and others kept the original setting. Thank you very much for helping me this far. :D Cheers Josh Lewis.
