MySQL Administrator Logon issue

Hi,
I having troubles logging on using MySQL Administrator.

- I've whitelisted my IP with Bluehost
- I've made an exception on Port 3306 on my firewall
- I'm logging on using server host 'mydomain.com'
- Username is a user with all privileges
- Password is one that works when connecting via PHP

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

MySQL Error Number 2003
Can't connect to MySQL server on 'domain.com' (10060)

...and it pings just fine, so it can see the IP..!!

...server host should have been my boxnumber.bluehost.com - all fixed.

i'm sorry, but i've got the same problem and your solution doesn't appear so clear to me. ;)

what did you use as server host name? i tried with either ###.bluehost.com and box###.bluehost.com and both don't work.

i'm sure i don't have port 3306 filtered because i tried with another db server and it works fine.

please help. :)

mysql server is localhost
